The included factory letter states the revolver was shipped in December of 1959 as a model BKH36. With wide base serrated ramp front and Micro adjustable rear notch sights, first style flat top frame, type 3 straight cut ejector rod housing, type 3 ejector rod with flat round head, serrated blue hammer with polished sides, and aluminum alloy grip frame. The grip frame is black anodized and the remaining components are blue with a slight plum tint on the loading gate. With smooth grips with nickel and black Ruger medallions. With unnumbered correct model factory box and papers.

Excellent. 95% plus original blue and black finish remains with some minor muzzle and edge wear, light scattered spotting, and visible rotation marks on the cylinder. The grips are also excellent with some small pressure dents. Mechanically excellent. Box is very good with moderate corner and edge wear.
