The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 3 1/2 inch barrel, ramp front sight, blue finish, and checkered walnut grips when shipped on November 23, 1954, to Paxton & Gallagher Co., Omaha, NE. Matching serial numbers on the butt, right grip panel, cylinder, and ejector shroud. The S&W gold box is numbered to the gun.

Excellent overall, retaining nearly 98% original blue finish showing some scattered minor edge wear, a cylinder drag line, some minor handling evidence, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine showing some minor wear.
