Manufactured in 1919. Standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs, and no. 1 barrel with provisions for a sling swivel on the underside and fitted with King blade and elevation adjustable sights. The highly figured Schnabel forearm with ebony insert and straight grip stock with crescent buttplate have deluxe style checkering. The buttplate and left side of the lower tang are marked "620," and the stock inlet is unmarked.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retaining nearly 95% plus original blue finish with thinning to brown on the balance. It has a flat spring barrel with the lower dovetail plugged and typical Winchester inspector marks. 95% original case colors remain. The re-checkered replacement highly figured wood is fine showing some minor handling evidence, some blemishes in the checkering and filled sling swivel hole on the underside of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
