The Damascus barrels have a bead front sight on the concave rib which is marked "E LIETELT IN BERLIN" and Belgian proofs and the matching serial number on the bottom. The action and most of the furniture has traditional Germanic floral scrollwork and gold inlaid accents and borders including dogs and game and a "SW" monogram on the trigger guard. The trigger guard has a horn grip extension. The stock has a checkered wrist and 14 inch length of pull.

Fine overall with attractive Damascus patterns visible along the barrel, most of the original gold inlay (some smoothing of the figures), gray and brown patina on the balance, some mild pitting, a few small flakes on the wood and horn, added 5/8 inch butt splice, and general marks and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
