Dated "1887." on the receiver, blade front and folding ladder rear sights, bearing matching numbers on the barrel, receiver and bolt, and matching partial numbers on a number of components. Smooth straight wrist stock, with a black leather sling and smooth buttplate marked "K.A.R/E.2.181." on the heel.

Very fine, with 80% of the blue finish, showing some light spotting, handling marks and edge wear overall, with some brown patches on the bright receiver and barrel. A few areas of brown patina are present on the trigger guard and barrel bands. The stock is also very fine, with some dents/scuffing concentrated on the left side of the buttstock. Mechanically excellent.
