The Army & Navy Co-operative Society was a British officer's society/department store chain, which served as a dealer in firearms, both for sporting purposes and as military sidearms. While not verified, "BSF" may indicate the British Salonika Force, a British Field Army that saw action on the Macedonian Front during WWI; Mott has not been positively identified but may have been an officer with the unit. The barrel is numbered "7161", with "290" on the rear cylinder face. Fitted with a pair of checkered grips and a lanyard swivel.
