Measuring 22 3/4 inches overall, this item is fitted with a 17 inch straight single fuller blade, bearing the Weyersberg "knight's helm" logo on the left ricasso. The hilt is finely sculpted and finished in gold, with a textured clamshell languet, a set of deer legs forming the guard, smooth polished horn grips with three gilt acorns on the right panel, deep cut oak leaf designs up the front and rear, and a large, finely sculpted lion's head for the pommel. With a brown leather sheath, fitted with gilt furniture and an acorn shaped pommel. A suspension cord is also included. No information on the original owner is available, but the one-sided acorn decoration on a dark horn grip is typical for a German subordinate forester, who would wear a knife with that ornamentation as a badge of office.

Very fine with some light spotting on the blade and minor handling marks overall. The sheath shows mild scuffing and wear.
