Description:

Both knives feature hunt-themed blade etching, gilt brass hilts with hoof motif and clamshell languets, stag horn grips with 3 brass acorns on the right side, and a black leather sheath with brass furniture and an acorn frog stud. The stag horn and acorn combo are traditional furniture for a subordinate forestry official in Germany, and would have been worn while on-duty as an official symbol of office. 1) WK&C knife, 20 1/2 inches overall, with a 14 3/4 inch blade, a sculpted deer on the languet, and a two-branch guard. 2) WKC knife, 17 3/4 inches overall, 13 inch blade, "D" guard and acorns on both grip panels.

Rating Definition:

1) Fine with some minor verdigris on the brass, light spots and handling marks, and some wear on the sheath. 2) Very fine with some minor verdigris and handling marks.
