Description:

Produced for issue with the Type 100 submachine gun and Type 2 Paratrooper rifle, the Paratrooper Bayonet follows the overall pattern of the standard issue blades meant for the Type 38 and 99 Rifles, with changes to make the weapon more compact. Overall length is 12 1/4 inches, with a 7 3/4 inch single fuller blade. The top of the tang is stamped with the logo of the Toyada Automatic Loom Works next to the approval stamp of Nagoya Arsenal, with a pair of smooth wood grips installed and "6396" stamped on the butt. Includes the correct blue steel sheath.

Rating Definition:

Excellent. The steel shows 95% plus original blue, with wear and handling marks concentrated on the metal and wood of the hilt. The sheath is very fine, with some light dings, scratches and spotting.
