Description:

Made by DWM expressly for the American arms market with the signature "American Eagle" on top of the chamber. Fixed sights, an early pattern Luger bolt and toggle assembly with the flat top bolt, unmarked extractor, and dished toggle knobs with spring-loaded toggle lock. Unlike most examples, no "GERMANY" export mark can be found, the safety lever is checkered instead of serrated, and the takedown lever has a matching "military" style serial number placement, in contrast to the "commercial" pattern of the other metal components. The lower safety area is polished bright. Equipped with straw finished small components, a grip safety, matching numbered checkered grips, and an unnumbered nickel finished wood base magazine.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 30% of the original blue finish, showing large areas of mixed brown and gray patina, spotting, edge wear and handling marks overall. More active pitting is visible around the muzzle and along some of the edges. Three notches have been cut into the left grip panel, with the moderately worn grips otherwise good, showing some dents and dark spots. Mechanically fine.
