Manufactured in 1899. It has special order features such as the part octagon barrel, double set triggers, and smooth pistol grip stock with shotgun butt. There are Winchester factory oval proofs on top of the barrel and receiver that suggest the rifle was returned to the factory sometime in the 20th century. Marble Sheard blade front and elevation adjustable rear sights on a barrel marked with the two-line address and "30 W.C.F." on the top flat and the two-line nickel steel marking on the upper left flat. A Lyman tang sight is installed. The smooth pistol grip stock features a factory hard rubber grip cap and shotgun buttplate. The left side of the lower tang is marked "464" followed by a crossed out "8657," and the stock inlet is unmarked.

Fine as factory refinished, retaining 40% of the blue finish with the balance a smooth gray patina. Traces of case colors remain on the hammer and lever. The wood is fine with a missing minor chip near the upper tang and some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
