U.S. Winchester M1 Garand Semi-Automatic Rifle, Late War "Win-13" Production

Manufactured by Winchester in the last production run in World War II. Blade front and adjustable peep rear sights with locking bar, with a "WP" proofed barrel, Winchester bolt, trigger guard, trigger housing, hammer and operating rod, and the right front receiver leg marked "D28291WIN-13". Smooth pistol grip stock, with a circled "P" on the underside of the wrist, restamped "WRA/GHD" and "crossed cannon" cartouches on the left side, a brown leather sling and a checkered steel buttplate with tools (plastic oiler, multi-tool patch jag) in the trap. The "WIN-13" marking is particular to receivers originally produced in 1943 but not completed or assembled until the end of production in 1945. An estimated 30,000 were manufactured and accepted by the Army to fulfill the contract.

ConditionVery good, with traces of the parkerized finish, showing areas of mixed gray patina, mild spotting and handling marks. The trigger guard assembly is reparkerized with most remaining. Stock is very good, with restamped cartouche, some dents and scuffs, and the sling shows some wear and cracking. Mechanically excellent.
