Introduced in the 1930s, the Klein Kaliber Wehrsportgewehr was designed to mimic the weight, feel and features of the military standard 98k bolt action rifle and was popular with paramilitary organizations within Germany, including the SA and the Hitler Youth. Blade front and tangent rear sights with "eagle/N" proofs on the barrel and receiver, Gustloff trademark and address on the receiver ring and "KK Wehrsportgewehr" on the right side. Smooth pistol grip stock, with two barrel bands. The left side of the stock has been branded with the runic-style logo of the SA, with "SA d.NSDAP" (Stormtroopers of the National Socialist German Workers Party) in a circle around it. A metal front sight protector is included.

Fine, with 80% of the original blue finish, showing scattered spotting, areas of brown and gray patina, and a few spots of heavier oxidization on the barrel. The stock is very good, with some dents and dark spots. Mechanically excellent.
