Blade and peep sights with "DRC" windage and "HRA" elevation drums, "HRA" bolt, trigger housing, safety, "SA" hammer and replacement reparkerized relief cut op rod marked "D353826 SA". The barrel is marked "HRA- 3-52". Smooth pistol grip stock, with a "crossed cannon" cartouche on the left side, circled serifed "P" on the underside of the wrist, and a checkered buttplate. "D-6528291" marked on right forward side of receiver under stock. "6528290-HRA, H" marked on trigger housing. A small brass tag, marked "41/S. DUFF", is attached to the forearm; while not explicitly documented, similar tags have been seen on weapons attributed to author and M1 Garand expert Scott Duff.

Very fine, with 85% of the parkerized finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, bright edge/cycling wear, and mild handling marks. The stock is very good, with traces of white paint on the front handguard, scattered dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
