Both cannons are most definitely old and measure approximately 26 inches from muzzle to end of the carriage. No markings are discernable on either cannon. Each is mounted on a brass reinforced wooden naval style mount with wooden trucks and is complete with breeching ring bolts and tackle loops. These were quite possibly built as signal cannons.

Very fine. Showing an attractive aged patina overall with areas of wear on the moving parts. The carriage is very good with some mild age related wear, and is missing the lynch pin for the front left wheel. Mechanically appears to be in order. These would make a nice addition to your gun room or look great flanking both sides of a fireplace!
