Manufactured in 1937. Adjustable target front and rear sights, with the left side of the barrel having the two line address/patent dates marking, "THE WOODSMAN" on the left side of the frame, and "COLT" followed by "AUTOMATIC/ CAL.22 LONG RIFLE" and the Rampant Colt trademark on the slide. A "P" assembler's mark is stamped above the Colt "triangle/vp" proofmark on the left side of the trigger guard bow. Fitted with checkered walnut grips. Includes Colt Woodsman paper hinge black box (numbered to another gun), sight adjusting screwdriver, cleaning rod, and associated paperwork.

Excellent. The pistol retains 98% original blue finish with some mild thinning on the back strap, some scattered light handling marks, and some slight edge and muzzle wear with very limited minor pitting at the muzzle and on the front grip strap. The grips are also excellent with some scattered minor nicks in the overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with some scattered minor edge wear and some edge separation. About 2/3 of the end label remains.
