The barrels have a blade front sight on the rib, pair of what appear to be Leclerc maker's marks at the breech, and "TORDU" (twisted) and an unclear maker's mark on the underside. The locks are marked "Paris" in ornate script. The standing breech has a dished rear sight. The engraving throughout consists mainly of floral patterns along with game scenes on the finials. The stock has checkering with carved borders and raised relief carving including a wolf head at the rear of the wrist.
Very good with gray and brown patina, mild pitting mainly at the vents, repaired replacement right cock, and moderate overall wear. The stock is also very good and has partially smoothed checkering, distinct carving, some slivers absent on top left forearm and repairs visible at the edges, filled insect holes, and mild dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
