Manufactured in 1946 and subsequently mounted with a scope assembly by Griffin & Howe. Hooded ramp front and two leaf flip up rear notch sights, standard barrel markings with Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, factory drilled and tapped receiver with a Griffin & Howe side mounted scope mount with a Lyman Alaskan All-Weather scope, and "SUPER GRADE" marked floorplate. Checkered pistol grip stock with ebony forend cap, hard rubber grip cap, raised cheekpiece, front and rear sling swivels, and solid rubber Winchester buttpad.

Very fine, retaining 90% plus original blue on the barrel and receiver with some scattered light spotting and mild handling evidence. The wood is also very fine with some marks and scuffs and crisp checkering. The scope optics are clear with a slightly hazy ring around the edges and the tube shows some light oxidation. Mechanically excellent.
