It has a front sight that also acts as a bayonet lug, two barrel bands, three leaf rear sight graduated for 100, 300 and 500 yards, sling swivels on the rear band and buttstock holding a leather sling, Hartford address marked in the top strap groove, Colt's patent marking on the left side of the frame, matching serial numbers on the underside of the frame, lower tang and buttplate, and smooth stock and forearm with cleaning rod under the barrel, empty buttplate trap, "GDM" (George D. Moller) collection initials marked at the toe of the stock. Includes a period leather sling. Provenance: The George Moller Collection

Rating Definition:

Very good. The barrel and barrel bands are a smooth brown patina. The receiver and cylinder retain much of the dull refinished blue finish. The wood is also very good as revarnished with a couple long stress lines, filled repair near the front barrel band and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically fine.
