Manufactured in 1915. The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and "32 WCF" on the left side. The two-line patent dates marking followed by a Rampant Colt marked on the left side of the frame. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with a Colt factory triangle proof and "1". Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard and back strap. The matching partial serial number ("9536") is marked on the inside of each grip panel. Provenance: The Milan J. Excellent, retaining 90% plus original blue finish with cylinder rotation marks, and thinning to brown on the balance. The frame and hammer retain 98% vivid original case colors. The grips are also excellent with a slight chip at the toe (right panel) and overall crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
