Description:

Manufactured between 1872 and 1888. Marked "11" on many of the components. Globe front sight, adjustable notch rear sight, tang mounted peep sight, and barrel marked "FRANK WESSON WORCESTER MASS./PAT'D OCT 25 1859 & NOV 11 1862". Toggle link on the left side of the barrel and manual ejector on the right side. The barrel bears British proofs on the right side near the chamber. Nicely figured walnut straight grip stock with "A105" behind the lower tang and a nickel crescent buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 97% original nickel plating on the frame and 80% original blue on the barrel, scattered light spotting, and some wear along the high edges. The wood is very fine with numerous small scratches and some pressure marks. Mechanically excellent.
