Manufactured from 1903-1922 with standard Savage markings along with Gold Medal Grade style engraving featuring a setter and game birds on the left, pointer with game birds on the right, and the name "STUART CHADWICK" engraved on top. Fitted with beaded blade front (bead absent) and elevation adjustable notch rear sights. It is mounted with a finely figured, grooved slide handle and pistol grip stock with a crescent, Savage marked buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Turk Collection
Fine, retains 98% of the period refinished blue finish with a few scattered light handling marks and the magazine showing a mix of brown and grey patina. The refinished wood is also very fine with a discreet splice in the pistol grip and otherwise very minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
