Manufactured in 1951. Hood ramp front sight, adjustable sporting rear sight and receiver tapped for scope/sight mounting. Standard Winchester markings including the factory proof on the left side of the barrel and receiver at the breech. Straight receiver tang, late safety, polished bolt numbered to gun and sling swivels. Checkered straight comb pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate. Provenance: The Milan J. Excellent. The rifle retains nearly all of the original blue finish with only the slightest handling marks. The stock is also excellent with a few minor nicks and scratches overall and a very slight ding on the right side of the buttstock. The checkering is sharp. Mechanically excellent.
