N.Y., U.S.A." on the right and left respectively, standard markings on the flats, and chambers measured at 3 inches with ejectors. The casehardened action and sideplates bear the standard flowing floral engraving and zig-zag borders with "L. C. SMITH" on either sideplate, and standard water table markings. Single non-selective trigger and a tang mounted manual safety switch. Lightly figured, multi-point checkered walnut splinter forend with engraved fittings, ebony tip inlay, and rotary latch release. The pistol grip stock is nicely figured with matching checkering and hard rubber grip cap and buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements (R/L): choke constriction .006/.017 inches; 1 5/8 inch drop at comb; 2 3/4 inch drop at heel; 14 inch length of pull; weight 6 lbs 3 oz.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original blue, 75% case colors with the balance an attractive silver patina, and light handling evidence. The wood is also excellent with a few minor marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
