Colt Super 38 Semi-Automatic Pistol in Colt .38 AMU

Manufactured in 1962 and subsequently upgraded to current configuration. Fixed Patridge blade front and fully adjustable BO-MAR rear notch sights. The slide is marked "COLT .38 AMU/AUTOMATIC". Fitted with an adjustable serrated trigger, serrated arched mainspring housing and checkered grips. The front strap of this pistol features a stippled texture for a more positive grip. Magazine floorplate marked for Super .38 Auto with two tapped holes. Provenance: The Gus Cargile Collection

ConditionVery fine, retaining 85% original blue finish with scattered handling marks, some spotting on the trigger, and some spotting on the front of the frame. Grips are also very fine with limited handling marks and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
