Manufactured in 1883, this pair of revolvers are two of only approximately 4,000 New House Model revolvers produced. The top of the barrels have the two-line address, and the "COLT NEW 41" etched panel is on the left sides. There are British proofs on the barrel and cylinder of both. They both have standard features. The serial numbers are on the butts and the standard patent dates are on the bottom of the barrels. The grips on the "B" gun are numbered to match and the grips on "A" are stamped "1865" on the butts of both panels. Includes a leather wrapped hard case, oiler, cleaning rod, key, and twelve .41 CF cartridges.

Fine, retains 50% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having mostly thinned to a smooth grey-brown patina and some scattered light spotting, primarily on the butt and back strap. The grips are fine with a few minor chips and a minor flat spot on each panel towards the bottom. Mechanically excellent. The case is fine with loose partitions and mild handling/storage wear overall.

Fine, retains 70% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a mixture of grey and brown patina, mostly noticeably on the barrel, a few scattered patches of light pitting, and a well-defined etched panel. The grips are also fine with a large chip absent from the right panel and otherwise minimal handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
