William Stein of Camden, New Jersey, was active in 1868-1875. The smoothbore barrel has a turned down muzzle, blade and notch sights, and "W. STEIN/CAMDEN. N.J." The brass "action" has the same marking, and the screws and their corresponding holes are numbered "4," "5," "6," and "7." The trigger guard serves as the cocking lever.
