Manufactured c. 1951. Blued steel barrels with flip-up hood beaded blade front sight, three position (one standing, two folding) rear sight as well as claw scope mounts holding a Swarovski Z6 1-6x24mm scope on the beautifully scroll engraved rear quarter rib, correct 1951 dated Birmingham nitro proofs, and chambers with automatic ejectors. The rifle is chambered in .375 H&H Magnum rimless. The casehardened boxlock action displays wonderful closed scroll engraving covering the nearly all of the exposed surface with "WESTLEY RICHARDS" banners on either side. The scroll also extends to the toplever, both tangs, and the trigger guard. The rifle features removable firing pins, a tang mounted automatic safety switch, and double triggers. Nicely figured, multi-point checkered splinter forend with engraved fittings and ebony tip insert and pistol grip stock with checkered teardrop flats, casehardened engraved grip cap, raised cheekpiece, blank inscription oval, and orange rubber recoil pad. Includes a takedown case with correct interior label, cleaning kit in a hide pouch, two oilers, two snap caps, leather sling, and cleaning round. Length of pull 14 3/8 inches. Weight 11 lbs. 10 oz. with scope.

Excellent overall, retaining 97% original blue and 90% case colors with the loss on the tang, blue loss on the flip up sight hood, a few areas of scattered scratches on the barrels, and a single tiny pin prick spot on the right barrel near the breech. The wood has a few small dings, a pressure dent on the left of the wrist, and sharp checkering. The case is very fine. Scope optics sharp. Mechanically excellent.
