Manufactured in 1942. Single nickel bead sight, Winchester counterbored smooth bore barrel, Winchester "WP" proofs on barrel and correct top grooved receiver at the breech, matching numbers on the receiver and trigger guard assembly, and smooth trigger. Walnut 17 groove forend and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered blue steel buttplate.

Excellent, retains 95% plus of the original blue finish with slide retraction wear, the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina. The wood is excellent with a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
