Description:

Introduced in 1943, the Randall Model 1 was an extremely popular supplemental weapon among American troops through the conflicts of the middle and end of the 20th century, including Vietnam. It measures 13 1/8 inches overall with an 8 1/16 inch clip point blade. The guard is the double brass pattern, grip is stacked leather washers with red, white, and blue spacers, and a Duralumin pommel. Includes a Randall leather sheath marked "8" on the back and sharpening stone.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, the bright blade showing very minimal wear, brass guard showing an attractively aged patina, a few scattered light handling marks on the grip, and a few scattered light dings on the pommel. The sheath is fine with some scattered minor scratches and scuffs, and some light verdigris on the snaps.
