One of approximately 9,000 manufactured from 1870 to 1890. It has the standard two-line address and "2" model marking on the top barrel flat flanked by Maltese crosses. There are London proofs on the bottom of the barrel and flourishes of floral scroll engraving on the sides of the frame and back strap. The matching serial number is on the butt and bottom of the barrel. It has standard features and is fitted with a pair of smooth antique ivory grips. Provenance: The George S. Lewis Jr. Collection
