Manufactured from only 1915 to 1917, the Model 1915 is the most rare of the Savage pocket automatics, with only about 6,502 manufactured in .32 ACP. On top of already being a scarce variation, this example was factory engraved and nickel plated, making it truly scarce. The top of the slide is marked with the standard two-line address, patent date, and caliber marking. It has approximately 75% coverage, factory type "C" engraving that was likely the work of Enoch Tue. The consignor notes that this example was restored by Steve Moeller. It is fitted with the standard blade and notch sights, grip safety, and a pair of smooth pearl grips with Savage medallions. Includes a modern custom hardwood case.
