The coin finished bolstered boxlock action displays scroll engraving surrounding game scenes depicting a pair of cape buffalo on the left and a pair of pheasant roosters in flight on the right side. The trigger guard is inlaid was three letter initials "MMS". The rifle features bushed firing pins, double triggers, and a tang mounted automatic safety switch. Attractively figured, multi-point checkered three-piece forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with black grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, rear sling swivel, and thick rubber recoil pad. Included are three extra barrel sets: one matching numbered 24 inch .270 Winchester/.270 Winchester set with a Redfield 2 3/4x scope; one matching numbered 28 inch 20 gauge/20 gauge set choked full/full; one non-matching 23 5/8 inch .222 Remington/16 gauge set with a Weaver KV scope and full choke.
