The included factory letter confirms the revolver as having a 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered for .357 Magnum, with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped as one of two to the Abercrombie & Fitch Company in Chicago, Illinois, on November 29, 1960. Assembly number "552" is found on the loading gate. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, back strap, both grip panels (465), and cylinder (465). Includes reproduction Colt black box and manual.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% plus original blue and casehardened finish, with slight muzzle and edge wear, light handling marks, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is excellent.
