The included factory letter confirms the revolver as having a 5 1/2 inch barrel chambered for .44 Special, with nickel finish and grips not listed when shipped to Howards Firestone Dealer Store in Warner Robins, Georgia, on May 10, 1962, in a one gun shipment. One of just 124 Second Generation Colt Single Action Army revolvers made in this configuration, as listed in Don Wilkerson's "The Post-War Colt Single-Action Revolver, 1955-1975." Assembly number "26" is found on the loading gate. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, back strap, both grip panels (130), and cylinder. Includes reproduction Colt black box with manual and bore brush.

Excellent overall, retaining 95% plus original nickel finish with scattered handling marks, light cylinder drag line, some scattered light flaking heavier on the top strap, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is very fine.
