The included factory letter confirms the revolver as having a 4 3/4 inch barrel chambered for .38 Special, with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped to The Gun Shop in Rochester, New York, on May 28, 1958, in a one gun shipment. Assembly number "702" is found on the loading gate and front cylinder face. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard, back strap, and both grip panels. Includes reproduction Colt black box.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% of original blue and casehardened finish with light handling marks, faint cylinder drag line, and crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The included box is also excellent.
