Originally manufactured in 1973 and subsequently extensively reworked by legendary knife maker Bob Loveless, who only created some 70 of these pistols. Loveless is known for his outstanding work in custom knives, though it is clear from this pistol that his skill with his hands extended into all aspects of craftsmanship. The pistol features a yellow dot blade front sight and adjustable rear sight on top of the shortened slide. The most striking feature of this Model 41 is exposed hammer which is now visible in the area that the slide was removed making it appear very different from it parent pistol. The grips are reshaped and made to be much more streamlined appearance. Included with the gun is an extra satin finished 7 inch barrel with muzzle brake, an extra 17 inch barrel with forend and Weaver Classic 300 scope, and a removable stock that can only be attached to the 17 inch barrel via custom mounts on the right of the slide.

Very fine overall, retaining nearly all of the satin finish with some fading of the markings, areas of slight discoloration, and a few minor marks on the grips. The extra barrels and stock are also very fine. Mechanically excellent. Do not miss out on the rare chance to own one of these very rare pistols!
