Manufactured in 1875, the standard Colt two-line address on top of the desirable 1 3/4 inch barrel and the desirable "COLT NEW 30" etched panel on the left. The full serial number is on the butt, bottom of the barrel, and rear face of the cylinder. It is fitted with a rarely seen pair of checkered hard rubber grips that have molded flourishes of floral scroll at the bottom and Rampant Colts at the top. These grips were not factory fitted, but are of factory origins. This revolver is pictured on p. 192 of "The William M.
