Manufactured in 1922 with Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech. The barrel is marked with the two-line address/patent dates followed by "MADE IN U.S.A.", two-line nickel steel marking, and caliber marking, all on the left, and "-MODEL 1886-" on the right. The three-line trademark information is on the upper tang, and the serial number is on the lower tang. It is fitted with Lyman beaded blade front sight and an elevation adjustable rear sight. The plain straight grip stock is fitted with a Winchester hard rubber shotgun buttplate. Provenance: The Tom Selleck Collection

Fine, retaining 40% original blue finish with a smooth gray patina on the balance. The wood is also fine with minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
