Manufactured in 1914-1915, the top of the slide is marked with the two-line address, patent date, and caliber marking, lacking the "9MM" notation. This pistol has a couple of rare special order features, one being target sights, and the other being a coarsely checkered hammer. Fine, retains 60% plus of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned to a smooth grey patina and some scattered patches of light pitting, some of which on the barrel shroud appear lightly cleaned. The grips are also fine with a minor chip absent from the left panel, otherwise minimal handling marks, and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with mild wear.
