World War I Era U.S. Army Colt Model 1917 Double Action Revolver with Holster

Manufactured in 1918, with fixed sights. The frame and crane are numbered on the inside sections "284604." The bottom of the grip frame is marked "U.S./ARMY/MODEL/1917" and "No/131/393". Includes a U.S. leather holster marked "G&K/1917" on the back.

ConditionVery fine, retains 75% of the original blue finish with the balance having thinned mostly to a smooth plum brown or grey patina. The grips are very fine with some light wear and a few scattered light handling marks. Mechanically excellent. The holster is good with extensive wear.
