World War II British BSA No. 4 Mk I (T) Enfield Bolt Action Sniper Rifle with Scope

This BSA manufactured No. 4 Mk I (T) Enfield sniper rifle is fitted with a No. 32 Mk III scope and mount. "M47/1945/U36434/TR" marked on the left of the stock socket. The comb of the stock has a hardwood cheekpiece held on with two wood screws. Standard blade front sight and absent rear sight. Matching serial number "U36439" marked on the bolt handle. The scope is marked "TEL.STG.No 32 Mk 3/OS.2039A.(logo)No 21321" with a painted "W" on the tube, and it has the standard post and cross-hair reticle pattern, and is fitted in a cast scope mount marked "N92", "AO899" and "E34234" on the left.

ConditionVery fine, retains 85% wartime arsenal applied phosphate finish and 70% original blue finish with a few small areas of light pitting. The magazine shows a brown patina. The wood is also very fine with defined edges, some light handling marks, a few cracks visible on top ahead of the buttplate, and crisp stampings. Mechanically excellent. The scope and mount are both fine with some light pitting visible underneath the finish and clear optics, although the focus is nearsighted.
