Manufactured by W.W. Greener of Birmingham, England, the Greener Light Harpoon Gun uses a Martini action and loads .38 caliber blanks to launch harpoons in a similar fashion to rifle grenade "spigot" launchers. In operation, the harpoon slots over the final 11 inches of the barrel and connects to a line wound around a quick-detach frames on the front of the forearm. Birmingham proofs are present on multiple components, with the loading data (14.5 grains of Cordite, 16 ounce harpoon) on the chamber, the Greener address and model markings on the frame. Fitted with straight wrist stock with a Greener trade mark plastic butt. Comes with an assortment of accessories, including three harpoons, cleaning tools, one wrapped line, two line frames, spare frame adapter, and two oil containers. Very fine as factory converted for harpoon launching, with 95% plus hard chrome finish, with mild handling marks and moderate spotting on the loading gate. The stock is fine, with scattered light dings. Mechanically excellent.
