Sideplated action displays extensive floral scroll engraving surrounding a pair of pheasants in an upland scene on left and a pair of mallards on right and "Beretta/Gallery" on the underside. Trigger plate is signed "Bottega C. Giovanelli". Single gold trigger and tang mounted automatic safety/selector switch. Highly figured, multi-point checkered forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with blank inscription oval and checkered wood buttplate. Includes a leather bound takedown case with three extra chokes (modified, improved modified, and full). Barrel and stock measurements (U/O): bore diameter nine inches from the breech both proved and measured at 18.4 mm (.724 inches); minimum wall thickness .034/.037 inches; 1 1/2 inch drop at comb; 2 1/4 inch drop at heel; 14 11/16 inch length of pull; weight 7 lbs.

Excellent overall, retaining 98% original blue and coin finishes with an area of oxidation on the left of the action, minor handling evidence, and sharp checkering on the stock and forend. The case is excellent. Mechanically excellent.
