The included factory letter confirms the revolver as having a 7 1/2 inch barrel chambered for .45 Long Colt, with blue finish and grips not listed when shipped as one of eight to Harris & Stroh in San Francisco, California, on August 24, 1956. Assembly number "893" is found on the loading gate and on the front cylinder face. Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard, backstrap, and both grip panels. Includes original Colt black box and manual.

Very fine overall, retaining 97% of the original blue and casehardened finishes with some minor edge wear and handling marks, a very faint cylinder drag line, and overall crisp grip checkering. Mechanically excellent. The repaired Colt black box is very good.
