Family, Friends, Consignors and Clients Near and Far,

THANK YOU for being such amazing supporters of Rock Island Auction Company! We hope that you and your loved ones are safe, sound and united. We, like so many of you have been monitoring the very fluid situation happening all over the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the best interest of the health and safety of our family and yours, we have postponed the scheduled April 24, 25^th and 26^th Premier Firearms Auction. Rather than posting new auction dates based on hypotheticals, we have decided to apply situational awareness. As the weeks pass and we learn more, we will select a predetermined date in either May or June that we feel is in the best interest of all of our clients. This is a special auction and we feel it deserves special considerations.

Our offices remain opened. Our team remains motivated, focused and dedicated to quality.  Frankly, we are excited to have the additional time to promote this auction due its utterly magnificent composition. The catalog has already been posted online for over a week and will remain posted indefinitely while we remain open for business. Interest has been spectacular and we are proud to announce that catalog orders are at an all-time high, we will run out, so get your order in ASAP! We are receiving answering questions and photo requests on items every day, so keep them coming.

I have to admit we all had a moment of levity yesterday afternoon sitting in our “war room” discussing scheduling. Our team moved heaven and earth to produce this catalog. We’re talking longgggg days and sleepless nights. As always, they rose to the occasion. Not only did they deliver the catalog on time, but in unbelievable and quintessential Rock Island fashion. It has tremendous style and it is without question, the finest catalog we have ever produced. Never the less, the look on everyone’s face was absolutely priceless when the reality of the catalog sitting in our warehouse for a month sunk in, as flash backs to 3 weeks ago hit, virtually simultaneously.

However, hard work pays off, we are blessed to now have time on our side to act and proceed accordingly. We plan to ship the catalogs approximately 4-5 weeks prior to the auction.  Believe me when I say we are excited to get the catalogs out the door and into your hands! The preview hall will be set up in its entirety by April 13^th for the pending Premier Auction. Our preview hall set up mirrors or exceeds the quality of the presentation in our catalog. It will no doubt be a spectacle to behold. Early preview will be available at your convenience.  Call us to make an appointment.

• DATE CHANGE: The Scheduled April 1 Online auction has been moved up as we adjust our new schedule, one week to MARCH 25th.
• NEW AUCTION: April 30^th Online Auction. OVER 1200 lots, catalog will begin to post Mach 25^th.
• NEW AUCTION: May 20^th Online Auction. OVER 1000 lots, catalog to post April 30^th
• NEW AUCTION: June 17^th Online Auction. OVER 1000 lots, catalog to post May 20^th

Our mind set has always been a little different here at RIAC. We see this as an opportunity for certain market sectors, for self-improvement and for welcomed additional time to promote one of the finest auctions ever amassed.
