Engraved Belgian Browning Olympian Grade Bolt Action Rifle
Manufactured in Belgium in 1967, this rifle features a hooded ramp front sight and adjustable rear folding sight. The barrel is blue and the remaining parts are satin grey with a gold washed trigger and jeweled extractor. The front receiver ring is engraved with a rhinoceros in tall grass on the right side, an elephant in a wooded jungle scene on the left, and the remainder of the action is scroll leaf and punch dot engraving. The hinged floorplate is engraved with a cape buffalo in a plains scene with floral scroll engraving below and on the attaching metal and is signed "R.DEWIL". The trigger guard is engraved with a lion's head amid tall grass and signed "LL". The stock is extra fancy select walnut with a high gloss finish, fine line checkering and hand carved scrollwork on the forearm and grip area, contrasting forend and grip cap with a diamond shaped brass insert, raised comb, cheek piece, rubber vented Browning recoil pad and sling swivel studs.

Master Engraved Belgian Browning Olympian Grade High Power Rifle
Manufactured in 1968. Standard barrel markings and Belgian proofs. The attractively grayed receiver body features fine floral and scroll engraving on a darkened background with a bugling elk on the left of the front ring and a pronghorn on the right. The floorplate is engraved with a white-tailed deer in dense vegetation. The trigger guard features a bear surrounded by floral scroll. The rifle is signed "VANDERSMISSENG" on the right and left of the receiver ring, "A. MARECHAL" on the floor plate and "DR" on the trigger guard. Mounted in an exceptionally well-figured pistol grip stock with fine checkering, floral carved accented borders, contrasting rosewood forend tip and grip cap, gold diamond on the grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and solid Pachmayr White Line recoil pad.

Factory Engraved Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning BAR Grade V Rifle
The Grade V rifles were only manufactured from 1971 to 1974, with this rifle being manufactured in 1971. This example features a tapered barrel manufactured without sights. The left side near the breech is marked with the one line address over "MADE IN BELGIUM", and the caliber designation and "BROWNING PATENTS" are on the right side. Each side of the receiver is engraved with scenes with four gold inlaid animals (antelope on left, deer on right) with a gold inlaid wire border. Surrounding the scenes is a floral vine design with a punch dot background. The same floral vine design is on the bottom of the magazine and trigger guard. The lower left side of the receiver is signed "J. BAERTEN". The top of the receiver has a matte finish and is factory drilled and tapped for scope mounting. The high gloss walnut forearm and stock wrist are finely checkered with relief carved floral vine designs. Sling swivel studs and a solid Browning recoil pad. Includes Redfield 3-9X scope.

The rifle is signed "A.BEE" on the left of the receiver ring, "VANDERSMISSENG." on the floorplate and "AM" on the trigger guard, likely for A. Marechal. Mounted in an exceptionally well figured pistol grip stock with fine checkering, floral carved accented borders, contrasting rosewood forend and grip caps, gold diamond on the grip end, raised cheekpiece, and vented Browning White Line recoil pad. The included factory letter confirms the serial number, caliber, and no sights, as well as being sold on 19 May, 1970 to Sportland Inc. in Lansing, Michigan.

Ernst Engraved and Gold Inlaid Belgian Browning Over/Under Rifle
Manufactured in 1976. Blued steel barrels with ramped beaded blade front sight, rear quarter rib with fixed notch rear sight and German style claw mounts holding a Schmidt & Bender 1 1/4-4x20 scope, and wedges of floral scroll engraving on either side of the upper breech. The coin finished action displays near full coverage beautiful deep cut floral scroll engraving surrounding two semi-relief gold inlaid animals. The left hand side shows a majestic bugling red stag and the right side depicts a snarling European boar. The stag is faintly signed at its should "L.ERNST" for factory Master Engraver Lucien Ernst. The gun features a single trigger and a tang mounted safety/selector switch with gold inlaid "O", "U", and "S". Beautiful, feather crotch figured Schnabel tip forend with engraved fittings and pistol grip stock with Browning buttplate. Length of pull 14 1/16 inches. Weight 8 lbs. 4 oz. (scope included).

Belgian Browning High Power Olympian Grade Rifle in .458 Win Mag
Manufactured in 1967. Blued steel barrel with ramped hooded beaded blade front sight, adjustable folding rear sight, and 2 inch wedges of floral scroll engraving on either side of the breech. The coin finished action displays beautiful floral scroll engraving as well as a two game scenes on the receiver ring. The left side shows a bull elephant in a jungle setting and the right a rhinoceros in a savanna scene. The bottom metal shows the same floral scroll engraving with a charging cape buffalo bull engraved on the magazine floorplate and a male lion on the triggerguard. The gun is signed "J.BAERTEN" on the right side of the receiver ring, "R.DEWIL" on the floorplate, and "AM" on the triggerguard for Browning Master Engravers Jose Baerten, Rene Dewil, and Alfonse Merchal. The gun is mounted in a beautifully figured, fancy oak leaf carved border checkered walnut stock with rosewood forend tip, blued steel grip cap, shadowline cheekpiece, and solid red rubber recoil pad.
