This Beaumont-Adams "Self-Cocking" revolver has "WILKINSON & SON 27 PALL MALL, LONDON." marked on the top. It features scrolls work and border engraving, blade front and notch rear sights, a checkered walnut grip, and a "JOSEPH BRAZIER'S PATENT No 445" marked loading lever. The right side of the frame is marked "B.8529/ADAMS' PATENT No. 24035". The grip is numbered "3350" as is the right rear of the frame and rear of the cylinder. The revolver comes in a hardwood case with green lined interior and a "Wilkinson & Son" lid label along with a wrench, powder flask, bullet mold, cleaning/ram rod with different tips, six conical bullets, oiler, and a Eley tin of percussion caps.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The revolver retains 50% plus of the original blue finish with a gray patina on the hammer, cylinder, and trigger guard along with the worn areas. There are some light scratches overall including those operating the various components and removing the cylinder pin. The grip is very good with crisp checkering and only a few minor dings. Mechanically fine (one nipple is damaged) with mostly clear engraving and marks. The case is very good with fine inside retailer label, some stains and small tears on the interior and some small dings, scratches, and minor cracks as is typical from long periods of storage.
