This is an example of a mid-WWII K43 rifle as produced at the Walther factory in 1944, that is complete with an original ZF4 sniper scope and mount (non-matching). The rifle has the rough milled wartime receiver that is marked on the left side with "Nazi Eagle/359/K43ac44/116g". It has the rough cast bolt cover with the hollow bolt handle on the left side and the lock on the right side. It is fitted with a stamped sheet metal action cover with the blued sliding spring/dust cover. It has the late style barrel without the muzzle nut which is fitted with standard front and rear sights. The rifle is fitted with a standard wartime laminated stock and handguard set. The rifle is fitted with wartime laminated stock and hand guard and the stock has a single "Eagle/WaA359" Waffenamt proof on the left side below the sling slot, a small one in the pistol grip area and one on the lower portion of the butt stock. The rifle is fitted with an original WWII ZF 4 sniper scope. It is marked on the side: "Gw Z F 4/36121/ddx" and it is complete with an original set of black leather lens covers. The is fitted in a WWII mount that has a "Eagle/359" stamp in the center of the mount and is numbered "3480" towards the rear end. The rifle is complete with a front sight cover, cleaning rod, leather sling, a K43 marked magazine, a K98 type oiler and spare parts in the butt stock trap.

Excellent with 90% plus of the late combination phosphate/blue finish on the metal parts overall with dark spotting on the rear area of the action cover. The stock and handguard are both in very fine condition with clear visible stock cartouches showing only minimal handling marks and light scratches overall with the wood showing an old cleaning, (but not sanded) oil finish. The scope is in excellent condition with 95% of the blue finish overall with clear optics and sharp markings. The center section of the rear leg of the scope mount has an old welded repair and it has been rephosphated, but shows a clear proof marks and serial number on the rear of the scope.
