A. Francotte Knockabout Gun Double Barrel Box lock Shotgun

With a single high visibility red dot sight on the solid matte rib marked "THE KNOCKABOUT GUN" just forward of the breech. With 2 3/4 inch chambers, modified/improved modified chokes, and ejectors. Right barrel marked "A. FRANCOTTE MAKER & PATENTEE" and left barrel marked "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH Co./MADE IN BELGIUM" with "SIEMANS MARTIN STEEL" on underside of right barrel and standard Liege proofs on the flats. Box lock action is vibrantly casehardened with simple scroll engraved flourishes. Single trigger and tang safety. Checkered round knob grip stock with serrated horn buttplate. Length of pull is 14 1/8 inches.

ConditionExcellent. The barrels have 90% of the current blue with scattered light surface scratches, slight edge wear at the muzzle and very few minor dings. The receiver has some silvering around the edges and high points with scattered evidence of minor oxidation. The wood is very good scattered light indentations and surface scratches. The buttplate shows heavy worn damage and a few other minor chips. Mechanically very good.
